A Ngarrindjeri, Yorta-Yorta, Wemba- Wemba and Dja-Dja Wurrung woman, born in South Australia, Kingston Se,. Raised in a rural towns, much of Timanis childhood was spent on country. Timani grew up watching her Nan Letty Nicholls Weave traditional baskets and her Father paint traditional artwork on canvas and wood burning art.

Timani would paint when attending school and take subject in Art. Later in life Timani relocated as a Community Services worker and further her studies.
