A Ngarrindjeri, Yorta-Yorta, Wemba-Wemba and Dja-Dja Wurrung woman, born in South Australia, Kingston SE. Raised in rural towns, much of Timani's childhood was spent on Country — watching her Nan, Letty Nicholls, weave traditional baskets, and her father paint traditional artwork on canvas and burn stories into wood. Timani paints across mediums with acrylic and traditional story lines, carrying Dreamtime stories into every piece.
